Dotació .cat is back in the classroom

Free domain and hosting for every group, a single dashboard to manage it all, and the return of the Premis Wapps: the 2026/2027 school year begins.

Every September, teachers return to the classroom ready to take on new projects. And to make it easier, Dotació .cat is back too: the programme that gives schools a free .cat domain and web hosting so students can work on real digital creation projects in Catalan.

This year, Dotació .cat stays true to its essence — but launches a new, simpler and more intuitive way to manage it all.

One single space to manage everything
We’ve redesigned the teacher registration process to make it faster and more straightforward, with everything you need in one place.

From the new control panel, you’ll be able to manage your groups, check your dotacions and, when the time comes, register projects for the Premis Wapps .cat.

Each teacher gets a free .cat domain with web hosting for every classroom group. And if you need more, you can request them directly from the panel.

The essence of Dotació .cat hasn’t changed — the tools to manage it have.

The Premis Wapps are back in December!
Projects created in the classroom through Dotació .cat will once again be able to take part in the Premis Wapps .cat — the competition that recognises students’ work and gives their websites a public platform.

Registrations for the Premis Wapps .cat will open in December. It will be the moment to share the projects developed throughout the year and celebrate the creativity, knowledge and ideas of the students.

How to take part in Dotació .cat?
Registration for the 2026/2027 school year is now open. Go to domini.cat/docents, sign up as a teacher and start requesting dotacions for your students.

If you already have an account, you can log in directly at dotació.domini.cat/login.
